Having extracted the files from the TaskBar archive, you should have the following files:

Installation
------------

The fastest and easiest way of installing TaskBar, is copy all the files to the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.  If installing over a previous version, it is advisable to delete any currently installed components, although your TASKBAR.INI file should not be overwritten, as it contains any setup information previously saved.

To install TaskBar as the Windows Task List, edit the SYSTEM.INI file, and change (or add) the entry 'TaskMan.EXE=TaskBar.EXE' in the [Boot] section.


Registration
------------

If you like TaskBar, and want to continue using it, please take the time to register it.  Registration details are available in the TaskBar Help file.

If, for any reason, you have a TaskBar license file (TASKBAR.LIC) you are not entitled to, i.e. the 'Registered To' section in the About... window does not show your name, this file must be deleted, and a valid registration paid for.  Failure to do this breaks TaskBar's copyright.
